Aloha everyone! (That is, if you still visit my blog, hehe!)
I plan on being a little more active on my Facebook page so if you haven't already, please click
here to 'Like' my Facebook Page. I'll be doing a giveaway for that soon. :)
First off, I won't give you the sad story about how I haven't been blogging lately. I'm sure you all have noticed that lol. Although I do apologize for my followers who regularly come to my blog, only to find out there isn't anything new. There's really no other reason besides the fact that I've been busy with my personal life. I just recently joined 24 Hour Fitness and have started working out regularly (which I will be blogging about on my
personal blog soon!) and I've also been networking with more local models and photographers in my area to build my portfolio. But enough of that. I know that many of you would like to see more makeup looks/tutorials, reviews (there are a few lined up) and everyone's favorite-hauls! I am also thinking of making more makeup tutorial videos on YouTube by request. I've lost a few pounds so hopefully I can start feeling a little more confident in front of the camera lol. Yesterday I met with a consultant for Motives Cosmetics and will be attending a seminar tomorrow. So yes, a lot of exciting things have been happening and I will share more on my personal blog soon. I also would like to host a 2nd giveaway since I am getting closer to 400 followers, I'm currently at 395 and I would like to thank all 395 of you for following. I don't have anything planned today so I'll be able to play around with makeup. :) But it's 2 a.m. so I'll be getting my Z's soon after this post. Anyhoo, I hope you all are doing well and are enjoying this fabulous (and scorching) Summer season! ;)
On Thursday I had a wonderful opportunity to work with a young, up and coming model who, like myself, is working to build her portfolio. She was a pleasure to work with-nice and friendly, mature and professional with a great attitude to match. I had so much fun working with her and she is a wonderful model. :) The photographer was awesome as well. This was a mermaid photo shoot so we decided to do something a little more elaborate. I know you've all seen it before but I did use fishnet stockings to create the scales on her forehead and temples. I made the scales more dimension on the front forehead area and it gradually faded to her temples and side of her face. I believe the lashes that I chose for her (Red Cherrys, forgot the number) were a good match for the makeup, they were criss-cross lashes with rhinestones. Honestly, it took me a little over 2 hours but she loved it and kept saying that she didn't want to wash it off when she went home lol! Alright, enough of the babble! I'll leave you all with a few photos-they're clickable. ;)
