NBA Playoffs Makeup Series: New Orleans Hornets

Hello my beautiful bloggeristas!

Today is the last day to enter my giveaway! Please enter if you haven't already done so. I'll be accepting entries until 11:59pm tonight! Thanks!

Today's look is for the New Orleans Hornets, who, fell short to the Lakers. Their colors are creole blue, dark purple, mardi gras gold, white and green. These colors were a little more of a challenge for me to blend because of where I chose to place the colors. I actually wanted to wipe it all off mid-way and start over but I pushed myself to make it work lol! But I think it came out okay. Let me know what you think. What are your favorite teams? ;)

NBA Playoffs Makeup Series: Oklahoma City Thunder

Hello Dolls! ;)

And the series keeps on going! lol. Today I chose to do a look for the Oklahoma City Thunder. This reminds me of a sunset look I did a while back. I just wanted to mention that I am aware that my skin looks different shades in my photos because I don't always get the same lighting. lol. Anyhoo, hope you all enjoy it! ;)

Cutting The Crease With MAC's Fresh Cut Palette

Hello my lovely ladies! ;)

I actually got all 3 of my kids to nap all at the same time! (that's rare lol) So of course, I wanted to play around with my makeup. I wanted to practice a cut crease look and experiment with a multi-dimensional/gradient lip and this is what I came up with. I'm happy with how it turned out. This was my first time using this palette so I was more than happy to break it in. I purchased this at a CCO while in Boston visiting my sister. Unfortunately we don't have CCOs here in Hawaii so you can imagine my excitement when I stepped into one lol. Hope you all enjoy it. ;)

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss

Hello ladies! ;)

There has been a little buzz about these on beauty blogs lately and I had to see what all the excitement was about lol. I got these on sale at my local CVS and so far, I'm loving them! They're not too sticky and the pigmentation of the ones that I have are pretty true to the color in the tube. These also contain SPF 15 which is an added bonus. I think these are great drugstore lip glosses and the packaging is pretty chic. I'm loving Revlon lip products right now.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss SPF 15

Peach Petal, Coral Reef, Nude Lustre, Pink Pop, Lilac Pastelle

(same order as above)

Peach Petal is not as milky-looking as it is in the swatch. It's very much true to its color in the tube.

Have any of you picked these up? Which are your favorite shades?

Red Velvet

Hello everyone! Hope you all are enjoying your weekend, or, what's left of it. :)

Here is a look I did the other day. Just the classic Marilyn Monroe/Pin-up look. I used the Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lipsticks-which I love! I love matte anything though-lipsticks, blush, eyeshadow. My favorite finish.

This is one of my most favorite makeup looks because it's so simple and easy to do and it's very classy and elegant. I believe every woman can rock red lipstick. :)

Cleopatra-esque

Howdy fellow bloggers & guests! It's been another hot minute since I last posted! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones. ;)

I've been wanting to film another makeup tutorial but unfortunately I always seem to get distracted by the little ones. =T

I don't normally use black eyeshadow to fill in my brows, nor do I fill them in this way, but it was best for this particular look. The lip color is more accurate in the first photo and wasn't frosty and bright like the second one. I'm a little rusty in cutting the crease. I need to work on that a little more, I think I went a little too high with the crease.
