NBA Playoffs Makeup Series: San Antonio Spurs

Hello Dolls! ;)

Today's look is for the San Antonio Spurs and their colors are black, silver & white. I think this would've been great with false lashes but I need to buy more lol. I should get some in bulk on ebay so I don't need to worry for a while. I went a little heavy on the contouring because I just wanted to use a light bronzer in place of blush. Hope you all enjoy it. ;)

Milani's Blue My Mind Eyeshadow & FOTN

Hello my gorgeous Dolls! ;)

Just wanted to share my makeup from last night. I had dinner with my other half. ;) I recently purchased Milani's Blue My Mind Metallic Baked Eyeshadow. The color of this shadow is a bright electric blue. It can be used wet or dry, but the pigmentation when used dry is almost as good as using it wet. I've always been a fan of Milani Cosmetics and this eyeshadow hasn't disappointed me one bit. Okay, well the little applicator is useless but other than that, it's great! My FOTN photo does not do this eyeshadow any justice! It's very true to the color in the pan. ;)

Depotting Time & Easy DIY Hello Kitty Palette

Hello my lovely Dolls! ;)

I wanted to share my depotting adventures with you today lol. The shadows that I depotted were a gift from my sister  for Christmas which was the Flirt! Cosmetics 40 Eyeshadow palette. I'm very late on depotting these. Flirt! is from the same company as MAC and Estee Lauder. I love these shadows, they are very pigmented and are easy to blend. From what I know Flirt! can be purchased at Kohl's but unfortunately here in Hawaii, we don't have a Kohl's so I was very happy to receive this from my sister. I usually depot my shadows with my flat iron but I didn't need to use any heat for these because they popped right out of the plastic packaging. I wasn't able to fit all 40 of the shadows into one MAC palette so there are 20 from Flirt! in each palette and I had to add 6 more MAC shadows to fill them up, some of which are pro. There is one that got cracked, as you can see in the picture, which devastated me lol. 95% of my MAC shadows are still in the pots but after this depotting session I am strongly considering depotting the rest of my MAC shadows. They're so much easier to look for this way. I prefer to take out the 15-pan insert so I can fit 26 shadows, I'm all about consolidation, more room for more makeup! lol.

Hello my gorgeous bloggeristas! ;)

I've really been inspired by Illamasqua's collection photos. In fact, I'm falling in love with Illamasqua even though I don't anything from their line-yet lol. I've seen this photo in the gallery on their website and I've been wanting to re-create this look from the moment I laid eyes on it. I had a lot of fun doing this and I hope you all enjoy it. ;)

e.l.f. Studio Haul

Hello my beautiful bloggers and viewers!

It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted on my blog and I do apologize for that. I've been hauling like a mad woman-mostly drugstore stuff for the past, hmm, month or so. I haven't gotten around to taking pics of everything but I recently received my e.l.f. Studio haul from when they had the sale for 50% off their Studio line. I really wanted to get the mineral lipstick in Natural Nymph but it wasn't half off since it was part of their mineral line and not the studio line lol. I guess that will have to wait until they have a sale for their mineral line! :)

Anyway, on to the haulage:

1. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer in Sheer
2. Liplock Pencil
3. 11 Piece Brush Collection w/case
4. Mineral Infused Face Primer
5. Kabuki Face Brush (this is LOVE! -oh so soft!)
6. High Definition Powder
7. Pressed Face Powder in Coco (was looking for a contouring powder-I know this is not my shade! lol)

I already have my own set of the brushes which I also got a while back when it was half off. But I will be doing my first wedding gig in July for my friend's sister. I should've gotten the brush belt as well since I am on a budget lol. Even though the whole brush set came out to only $15, do not be mistaken. These brushes are super soft and are of great quality. I would highly recommend these if you are just starting out in makeup and are looking for an affordable but reliable set of makeup brushes or also if you've been a long-time lover of makeup. Either way, I am sure these brushes will not disappoint you. :)

Also, I was going through my google reader and I came across a blog that I've been following and I'm so sorry but I forgot the name of the blogger. But she was venting about how blogger needs to make a reply button so that you can keep track of people that you've commented on or asked a question and I totally agree on that. I know there are some of you who asked me a question or two in your comments and I'm not sure how everyone responds to these. Do you just reply as another comment on your own post? Do you email them? Or go to their blog and respond with the answer? I would like to know what would be the easiest way to answer all of your questions as I do not want anyone to think that I am ignoring you. So please let me know. Thanks! :)
