NBA Playoffs Makeup Series: New Orleans Hornets

Hello my beautiful bloggeristas!

Today is the last day to enter my giveaway! Please enter if you haven't already done so. I'll be accepting entries until 11:59pm tonight! Thanks!

Today's look is for the New Orleans Hornets, who, fell short to the Lakers. Their colors are creole blue, dark purple, mardi gras gold, white and green. These colors were a little more of a challenge for me to blend because of where I chose to place the colors. I actually wanted to wipe it all off mid-way and start over but I pushed myself to make it work lol! But I think it came out okay. Let me know what you think. What are your favorite teams? ;)

Milani's Blue My Mind Eyeshadow & FOTN

Hello my gorgeous Dolls! ;)

Just wanted to share my makeup from last night. I had dinner with my other half. ;) I recently purchased Milani's Blue My Mind Metallic Baked Eyeshadow. The color of this shadow is a bright electric blue. It can be used wet or dry, but the pigmentation when used dry is almost as good as using it wet. I've always been a fan of Milani Cosmetics and this eyeshadow hasn't disappointed me one bit. Okay, well the little applicator is useless but other than that, it's great! My FOTN photo does not do this eyeshadow any justice! It's very true to the color in the pan. ;)

Inspired Makeup: Illamasqua 2009 Sirens Collection

Hello my gorgeous bloggeristas! ;)

I've really been inspired by Illamasqua's collection photos. In fact, I'm falling in love with Illamasqua even though I don't anything from their line-yet lol. I've seen this photo in the gallery on their website and I've been wanting to re-create this look from the moment I laid eyes on it. I had a lot of fun doing this and I hope you all enjoy it. ;)

Cutting The Crease With MAC's Fresh Cut Palette

Hello my lovely ladies! ;)

I actually got all 3 of my kids to nap all at the same time! (that's rare lol) So of course, I wanted to play around with my makeup. I wanted to practice a cut crease look and experiment with a multi-dimensional/gradient lip and this is what I came up with. I'm happy with how it turned out. This was my first time using this palette so I was more than happy to break it in. I purchased this at a CCO while in Boston visiting my sister. Unfortunately we don't have CCOs here in Hawaii so you can imagine my excitement when I stepped into one lol. Hope you all enjoy it. ;)

Rasta Makeup

Alooooooooooooooha!

First of all, I would just like to apologize for the lack of updates, yet again. However, a big thank you to YOU for taking the time out of your day to visit my blog. I appreciate each and every one of you. I hope that you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year! ;)

Back in December, I was contacted by Stephanie from maximumlash.com to do a review on their product. Unforunately I had conjuctivitis for a while so I was steering clear of makeup. However, please stay tuned for my review on this product as I will be giving (4) weekly blog updates with a final YouTube video review. Thank you Stephanie!

Here is a fun look that I was able to do today. I was inspired the rasta colors, red, yellow, and green. I'm not wearing any foundation here, just concealer where needed and I also forgot to put on some blush! I know, how could I? lol. I hope you all enjoy this! ;)

Red Velvet

Hello everyone! Hope you all are enjoying your weekend, or, what's left of it. :)

Here is a look I did the other day. Just the classic Marilyn Monroe/Pin-up look. I used the Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lipsticks-which I love! I love matte anything though-lipsticks, blush, eyeshadow. My favorite finish.

This is one of my most favorite makeup looks because it's so simple and easy to do and it's very classy and elegant. I believe every woman can rock red lipstick. :)

Fab & Flashy Look & I'm Back on YouTube

Aloha! =) I've been slacking lately. But I hope you all are doing well! I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of my followers and anyone who happens to stumble upon my little blog. So, "Thank You!" ;)

Out of boredom the other day, I came up with this look. I figured it was time to break in my Fab & Flashy eyeshadow. It was calling out to me saying, "Show me some love!" lol.

Halloween Look: Leopard

Hello everyone! So it's been about 3 months since my last post. Thought I'd do a little re-vamping around here. Hope you all are doing well!

Can't believe Halloween is right around the corner. Before you know it we'll be enjoying turkey legs and sweet potato pie and then shopping around for that perfect christmas tree. Time sure flies! What are you all going to be for halloween? Do you guys have your costumes ready? Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Who doesn't like to dress up? Here is a look I did sometime last week. Just wanted to play around with some halloween looks.

For the white and black parts I used NYX jumbo pencils in milk and black bean and the rest was matte bronzer, blunt blush and a variety of different brown eyeshadows.

An Oldie But A Goodie

Hello beautiful bloggers!

Just wanted to thank you all for the sweet comments on my last post with the sunset eyes. It's not often that I get inspired like that but I really had fun working with those bright colors. I'm glad you guys liked it. :)

Just wanted to share a look that I did some time ago. I was going through some old pics and honestly don't know where I got the creativity to do something like this. But I do love it and hopefully this will get my creative juices going again somehow. :) Since I did this a couple years ago I honestly don't remember exactly what I used. But I do know for sure that I was breaking in my NARS Cleo eyeshadow duo (so fab!).

In other news, I am about 36 weeks pregnant now and I'm so excited to give birth! And more excited to find out what it is! Yes, I'm having a surprise baby since I already have a boy and a girl. :) Can't wait!

Next post will be March Favorites. Stay tuned! =)
