Bridal Trial Makeup

Aloha everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend!

So I know this post was supposed to be about bridal trial makeup but I wasn't able to get any pics from the trial. Boo. I know lol. However, I was disappointed in my camera because I was hoping to get better pictures from it. So here are just a couple (literally, lol) of pics that I was able to get that were worth sharing. There was a professional photographer on the day of the wedding and I'm sure that maybe in about two weeks or so, I will be able to share some of those with you.

The Bride's Before & After:

The Bridesmaids who were rockin my fave color (green!):

A shot of me in action:

For my first time doing something like this, I have to say that I had so much fun! When I arrived I was quite nervous! All I could think of was being able to get all six of them done in time. They kept assuring me that I was doing great and to just relax and have a good time. Eventually, that's exactly what I did! I started at about 10 a.m. and got through just before 4 p.m. So roughly, I had about an hour for each girl. I really surprised myself because time was my biggest concern. There were only two things that made me truly happy; having fun and seeing that they were really happy with the results. This was definitely an amazing experience. I know that most of us women dream about the big day and want to be perfectly beautiful for that once-in-a-lifetime event. It was very rewarding to be a part of a special day in someone's life. This is something that I absolutely love doing and there is no doubt in my mind that I will be doing this again in the future. For any of you out there who are aspiring makeup artists like myself, and would like to start freelancing but are a bit hesitant, all I can say is go for it! If it is truly your passion as it is mine, nothing should stand in your way. Believe in yourself, be confident and make it happen! As I just mentioned, I am an aspiring makeup artist. Not a professional. Just wanted to make that clear before I start getting emails saying that I claim to be a professional. lol. I know that I still have a lot to learn and I'm willing to go on that journey to better myself.

Wow. That was kind of emo! lol! Sorry! hehe.

Halloween is right around the corner. Are any of you dressing up? Do you ladies have children? If so, what are they going to be? I've got a belly dancer, a pirate, and a flower baby lol. I don't think I'll be dressing up, I'll probably just paint my face. I love Halloween! :)
Before I sign off, I would like to kindly ask you to check out (& subscribe if you like) my girl Grace who is back on youtube. To be honest, I don't know her personally but I met her through youtube when I used to make videos and we've kept in touch on facebook. That was about 2 years ago lol. Not sure if any of you remember her but she was known as FilipinaDoll on YT. If you guys do have the time, please check her out. I've got love for that girl, I think she has amazing talent. MakeupByGraceNicole TIA! :)

P.S. I'm on beautylish and it is certainly addicting. Beauty+FB-style interface=genius! Are any of you on beautylish too? Let me know so I can follow you lovely ladies. ;) beautylish.com/il0vemac
