My Personal Experience: I have been wanting to try this foundation for quite some time now. I've read all of the raving reviews on Makeup Alley and other makeup review sites, my friends have also raved about it so how could I not want to try it? I have never tried any foundation from NARS so this was a first for me. NARS Cosmetics are a little more on the pricier side but in all honesty when it comes to this brand, you definitely get what you pay for. As I walked into Sephora to find someone who could assist me in shade-matching, I was approached by one of the sales associates. I was inquiring about which foundation he would recommend between the Make Up For Ever HD foundation and the NARS Sheer Glow. He immediately recommended the Sheer Glow due to the luminosity and natural finish that you could achieve. He applied a little on my jaw line and he said it was a perfect match, which was the shade in Syracuse. He also recommended to apply this foundation with your bare fingers and also mentioned that there was no need to set this with a powder but by all means, feel free if you prefer to do so. I was so excited to try it out as soon as I got home and believe me, when I did, it was pure heaven! Never ever have I experienced a foundation quite like this. It feels so lightweight, it doesn't even feel like you're using a liquid foundation. In fact, it feels like a second skin. I wouldn't say that this gives a 'dewy' finish, but more in between satin and semi-matte. Apparently this foundation would be ideal for those with normal to dry skin. I, personally, have oily-combination and it is just divine. Although the Sephora sales associate said there was no need to set this foundation, I chose to set it due to the oiliness that easily secretes in my t-zone and nose area. Because this does not contain SPF, this is a great foundation to use if you're going to be taking pictures as it will not give you that white cast. It's also wonderful that this is non-comedogenic because lately I've been prone to breakouts. I would say that this will give you sheer to buildable-medium coverage. If you are looking for more of a full-coverage foundation, I probably wouldn't recommend this due to the more natural finish. However, this does give you really nice coverage without looking heavy or cakey. I also wouldn't say that this is very long-lasting. I can typically get about 4-5 hours of wear with this foundation but anything longer than that and it will start wear off without touch-ups with powder. In the photo below, I set the foundation with the Make Up For Ever's HD Microfinish Powder and the results were nothing less than amazing.
( + ) Pros:
• SPF-free, great for photographs
• Very lightweight, you feel as though you have nothing on
• Decent shade range, should be easy to find your match
• For normal to dry skin, no need to set with powder
• Non-comedogenic
• Beautiful, natural finish
( - ) Cons:
• Price-wise, this is a bit much for 1 ounce of liquid foundation.
• Does not come with a pump. However, on the NARS Cosmetics website, you can purchase a pump for $5.

Would I re-purchase again? Yes! The only 2 factors that were negatives for me were the price and the packaging. Other than that, this stuff is amazing!
