Haul: Wet N Wild Limited Edition Holiday Palettes

*In the voice of Kim Kardashian* "Oh. Mygod." lol!

These gorgeous eyeshadow palettes have been swarming across beauty blogs and youtube channels for months. I first heard about these palettes from the lovely G. at nouveaucheap.blogspot.com. I absolutely love her blog. If you haven't already, please do give it a peep. =)

Apparently these palettes are hard to find. So far, I have read that they are and will be available at Walgreens, CVS and Rite-Aid. However, here in Hawaii, we only have CVS (formerly known as Long's Drugs) and Walgreens. I started my search for these palettes about a month ago. I had asked the sales associates about them and they simply responded that they didn't have them in yet. So I gave my number to 2 of my local Walgreens stores and requested that they give me a call as soon as they got their shipments. Just the other day, I had called one of the stores to ask if they got them yet. She put me on hold then came to the phone and proceeded to tell me that their display was all out. (insert dropped-jaw face here lol) I told her that I had left my number with an associate and that she taped it inside the cabinet underneath their cash register. I explained to her that I requested to be notified by phone as soon as they received the palettes. She apologized and told me that she would also let the department manager know. I then called the other Walgreens just to check on their status as well, and she too, said they didn't receive it yet. :(

Today after I picked up my daughter from school, I was on my way to drop her off at her great grandfather's house for the weekend, who happens to live a couple of blocks away from Walgreens. Before getting on the freeway, I recevied a call from the lady at Walgreens saying that their shipment had arrived but that she couldn't reserve any for me because they were seasonal products. It was fine since I was a few minutes away. The excitement that came over me was like a 5-year old child going to the toy store to pick out their birthday present lol. I've been lemming these for almost 2 months now and I'm so glad I finally got them. So here some pictures of the palettes (which I'm sure many of you have already seen from other blogs).

I highly recommend these because of the affordable price and great quality. If you are on a budget looking for some great eyeshadows, do check out these palettes. But hurry, they are limited and once they are gone, they're gone. I suggest that if you happen to see them in the stores and they catch your eye, don't hesitate to get them. They might not be there when you go back, the display only holds 2 of each palette so they will go fast. I must say that Wet N Wild has come a long way. If you've never tried any WnW products, I can honestly say that they are worth a shot.

Were any of you ladies able to snag these?

I bought the regular palettes like these and I'm just so amazed at how pigmented they are! I wanted the red holiday one you have but I decided against it [I need to stop buying make up! lol] I still can't believe Longs Drugs is CVS or whatever now!
